Reverse-focusing

Traditional progressive lenses are engineered with a standard vertical gradient, prioritizing distance vision in the upper quadrant and seamlessly transitioning to a dedicated near-vision zone at the bottom. However, this conventional configuration falls fundamentally short for wearers who require acute near-focus capabilities when looking upward, as peering through the top distance segment at close proximity results in significant blur and optical distortion.
