The OptoTech Multidesign series provides versatile, reliable freeform progressive lenses built on a "hybrid" approach that balances the wide distance areas of "hard" designs with the smooth transitions of "soft" designs. MD2 (Premium MD) elevates overall visual performance by introducing a flexible inset parameter. This allows the inward shift of the reading zone to be adjusted to match the wearer’s specific anatomy and prescription, a feature particularly beneficial for hyperopic patients.

- MD2 – Universal. The Premium Universal Vision. Increased vision in comparison to the MD design, and flexibility with the adjustment of the inset provides an even higher individual performance of the lens for the wearer.
- HD2 – Drive. The Premium Entry and Drive Design. Increases the visual zones with a concentration of unwanted astigmatism into a smaller area of the lens surface. Additionally it is possible to use inset for the reading as a variable. This is necessary to receive coincidence of the two converging eyes in the near zone.
- SD2 – Soft. Premium Soft Design for an Incredible Open View. Design with flexible inset to adjust the reading zone offers a better vision especially for hyperopia. Soft does not necessarily mean a larger reading zone but a softer, less notable peripheral cylinder aberration.

Fitting heights
